ahhh okay so basically the reason i’d been shying away from mcr art for a while is bcus i stupidly felt a little constrained by it. bcus the way i had been drawing them before i’d basically stared at photo references of them until my eyes hurt, and had to reference every pose and instrument and it was just a really big production to draw just one picture.
but then i found tenny’s art at otakon and it was just amazing how she managed to capture them even though it was very stylistic and cartoony. and just basically it inspired me to be like, well, it’s okay if i don’t reference each and every thing all of the time, and just have fun drawing them cus christ the killjoys have AMAZING designs
